Miguel del Águila Composer in Residence 2021

Ensemble Storstrøm is looking forward to working with South American composer Miguel del Águila, who is the ensemble's house composer in 2021. The ensemble's violaist Piotr Zelazny contacted Águila in 2019 when the ensemble's musicians were very enthusiastic about the composer's tonal language, which fits Ensemble Storstrøm's unique instrument crew. Águila's works will be put on the program both for the Spring Festival in March and the Late Summer Festival in September. [read more]
