Maqomi Ishq

European First Performance: Makomi Ishq, Berlin, 3 July 2014

Firouz Bakhor wrote the libretto and the music for this opera-ballet about a princess’ dramatic love affair with a poet, their mutual enthusiasm for poetry and music, the plain people and their public festivities and dances.


The European First Performance took place in Berlin at the Russian House on July, 3 and 4 2014. Performers were dancers of the Ballet of the State Theater Duschanbe (Tajikistan).
