Jean-Louis Agobet's new work for orchestra 'Oculus' had its world premiere on 7 November 2014. It was performed by the San Antonio Symphony Orchestra at the Tobin Center for Performing Arts in Texas, USA. Sebastian Lang-Lessing conducted the San Antonio Symphony.
The first biography of the almost revolutionary A&R man, music producer and music publisher Ralph S. Peer (1892–1960) has been published: 'Ralph Peer and the Making of Popular Roots Music' by Barry Mazor. Among his pioneering discoveries and first recordings are the country music stars Jimmy Rogers as well as the Carter Family.

The semi-finalists of this year's ARD Music Competition had to compete with Tobias PM Schneid's 'Suite for Cello Solo' on September 9. The best performance of his new work was co-deciding about entering the finals.
